This is what the reviews say:

  • From Portland Monthly: The menu dives into Tapas, Per Picar (tiny bites), and Paellas + Rossejats (toasted noodles). The meloso, a tender hunk of lamb shoulder from the tapas list, comes stewed in peach coulis over a pile of creamy white beans and under a crown of potato chips. Mejillones en escabeche, a three-bite snack of vinegar-poached mussels and pickled vegetables is one of several dishes served in a tin, a nod to the high-quality canned cuisine of Northern Spain.
  • From Willamette Week: Ataula, meaning “to the table” in Barcelona’s Catalonian tongue, is a comfortable blend of Portland-casual style and traditional Spanish tapas with occasional modernist accents. Ataula brings a renewed focus on top-quality tapas.
  • From Sip Northwest: Behind the bar, a short list of house Cocteles kindle the appetite. El Greco Tonica is a spirited riff on the timeless G&T, with Dolin Blanc and cinchona-bark tonic lending a refreshing bite. Wines are by and large Spanish (and mostly under $40 by the bottle), plus an international selection of beers and cider.

Bonus:  We now have the Culture Club Silver Pear. This magical totem will be awarded to the person who has the best quote, best story or whoever is most deserving. Plus, once awarded, you get to choose the next chapter of our culinary tour of Portland.
